Huntsville-based MTS has received a 2011 Silver level Boeing Performance Excellence Award (BPEA).

Boeing issues the award annually to recognize suppliers who have achieved superior performance. MTS maintained a Silver composite performance rating for each month of the 12-month performance period, ending Sept. 30, 2011.

This year, Boeing recognized 529 suppliers who achieved either a Gold or Silver level BPEA. MTS is one of only 407 suppliers to receive the Silver level of recognition.

MTS received this award after its first year as a Boeing supplier. MTS provides Logistics & Maintenance support to Boeing in support of the International Space Station.

MTS Makes Inc 5000 List for Second Year!

MTS once again is recognized by Inc. 500/5000 Magazine as one of the fastest growing private companies in the country.  We were ranked 2583 on the list based on overall revenue growth over the last three year period.

We are still in Huntsville, but have moved to our new office at 7047 Old Madison Pike, Suite 302.  Please drop by and visit at our new address.

Thank you to all local employees who volunteered on Saturday, May 14th to help the Salvation Army center in Guntersville!  We had a good turnout - of the 15 volunteers at the center, 12 were MTS employees and their family members.  Our help was needed and greatly appreciated.

They received two truckloads of donations while we were there, one from Tennessee and one from Kentucky.  We were able to assist in unloading the trucks and unpacking boxes of donations, sorting the items so they could be distributed easily.  We also prepared boxes of food for families (canned goods, boxed dinners, peanut butter, cereal, rice, juice, etc.) and sorted toiletries.  As tornado victims came into the center to receive assistance, they were able to pick up whatever they needed - boxes of food, cleaning products, and clothes.  This center is serving Guntersville and the Sand Mountain community, an impoverished area that took a direct hit from the tornados.

Through the MTS Community Outreach Committee, we are assisting local communities in Alabama recently affected by the disaster through the following:

  • Collecting items for donation to the CARE Center to meet the needs of tornado victims.

  • Collecting funds to pay bills for a family that lost their home.

  • Planning an MTS team service project for Saturday, 14 May.
