MTS, a Veteran Owned Small Business, was honored to receive the 2017 NASA Stennis Space Center (SSC) Small Business Subcontractor of the Year award at the December 4, 2017, Small Business Industry Awards (SBIA) ceremony. Receiving this award was MTS President Paul Curd, Senior Vice President Tammie Hayes, and Program Manager Catherine Lizana. The SBIA recognizes Small Businesses, Large Businesses, Subcontractors, Prime Contractors, and Mentor-Protégé Agreements that support NASA's mission.
In support of SSC, MTS performs financial and resource management services, program planning and control functions, project risk assessment, scheduling, configuration management, data management, earned value management, budget integration, cost validation and reporting. MTS performance was recognized by multiple SSC organizations, which included development and implementation of the Microsoft® Project Server/SharePoint Integrated Master Schedule Solution. This initiative, spearheaded by MTS and implemented at other NASA Centers and the Air Force, provides a cost effective, comprehensive schedule management solution for commercial and government agencies. MTS promotes excellence and best practices in NASA program and project management at SSC and across the Agency.
