OUR FOUNDATION
MTS is a Small Business headquartered in Huntsville, Alabama. Founded in 2001 on a strong foundation of manufacturing expertise, our earliest work included production management, transition planning, cost modeling, and scheduling, among other manufacturing disciplines. Our first opportunity was to support the Missile Defense Agency's Quality, Safety, and Mission Assurance Directorate at both the system and component levels. From there, the company grew to support the U.S. Air Force, U.S. Army, North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), and NASA.
OUR PRESENT
Today, our services include engineering and science, logistics, business management, program management, information technology and training in multiple U.S. locations. As a NASA prime contractor, we provide Program Planning and Control and Subject Matter Experts to several different programs and institutional organizations at multiple NASA Centers. We support major programs such as the NASA Space Launch System (SLS), Human Landing System (HLS), Gateway, Science and Technology Office, Space Flight Systems Directorate and Human Exploration Development and Operations Office with strategic planning; schedule and budget development and analysis; cost estimating and analysis; risk management; strategic communications; and control board support, among many other critical tasks. We have engineers at Johnson Space Center supporting the International Space Station (ISS) and Orion with expertise in several specialized areas. We provide critical program management and test support to the Missile Defense Agency’s Director of Test Resources. We support the U.S. Army in systems and software engineering, and we provide expertise in manufacturing and production processes and alternatives analysis to the U.S. Air Force. As an industry leader in Project Management, we are proud to be a Project Management Institute (PMI) Authorized Training Partner (ATP)®, providing customized training to our community and across the Government. In everything we do, we pride ourselves on the ability to provide quality products and find solutions to customer needs.
