MTS is pleased to announce that we were selected for an award in the General Services Administration (GSA) full and open ASTRO procurement under the Research Pool. GSA made dozens of awards in 10 pools under this contract vehicle to acquire manned, optionally manned, and unmanned platforms and robotics systems. The pools encompass various services in support of maintenance and operations of these systems as well as intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance. ASTRO was developed to support the Department of Defense and primarily the military’s combatant commands, and the budget is understood to be tens of billions of dollars. It has a potential ten-year performance period, and awardees will compete at the task order level for opportunities.
