Tammie Hayes joined MTS in 2005 and was instrumental in the growth of the company before becoming President and Chairman of the Board of Directors in 2019. With over 30 years of leadership, business and financial expertise in the government sector, she has held numerous positions, including Business Manager and Director of Business Services in support of NASA programs. As a previous Adjunct professor, she has always promoted education programs and led the company’s achievement of certification as a Global Registered Education Provider for the Project Management Institute®. Ms. Hayes served on the first NASA MSFC Small Business Executive Leadership Team, where she assisted other small businesses with opportunities, acquisition strategies, and mentoring. In July 2015, she was honored for her achievements by receipt of the NASA Distinguished Public Service Medal, the highest recognition presented to a non-government personnel. Ms. Hayes holds an MBA, a BS in Business Administration, and has been a Certified Professional Contracts Manager since 2002.
